Vermentino di Toscana IGT
This Vermentino in purity reflects the production philosophy of the Marchesi Mazzei. Vermentino is an indigenous grape variety that has its home by the Tyrrhenian sea coast, with its minerality and sapidity, shows great identity, juiciness and freshness.
The Tyrrhenian Sea derived its name from the population of the "Tyrrhenoi", better known as the Etruscans, who led by Prince Tyrrhenus landed on the coast of Southern Tuscany. This charismatic blend bears the name "Tirrenico" because its native vineyards overlook the sea and benefit from its breezes.

Thanks to the soil rocky and calcareous and to the dry climate, the Syrah grape express itself at the best in Sicily, and in particular at Zisola, where the "alberello" (bushy vines) training system allows to keep under control the natural exuberance of the varietal.
